It would be good to have some kind of diary of events, both so we all
know what to expect and so that we can spot gaps and find something to
fill them.

I have no problem being volunteered. I have absolutely no organisational
skills, however, which is why I have always avoided taking on that kind
of role. (Any frequent PLUG visitor will know that I rarely remember
there is a meeting until reminded on the day before, and rarely have the
workshop in a suitable state when people arrive. This is all symptomatic
of my organisational skills!) I simply have access to a venue, and
because of that I'm one person who is always at the meetings. Don't
equate that with me being some kind of group leader - I am not!

PS: If anyone has an alternative venue they'd like to suggest feel free
to do so; I'm happy to use the workshop as long as anyone wants, but I
won't be upset if someone thinks elsewhere would be better.

All of us have something to learn, but the most important point always
has to be accessibility. I have some people I'd like to bring to
meetings (eg shool headmasters) who would come with almost no Linux
knowledge.
