At least I know it is using Spamassassin as I have had to adjust the settings it uses. I'm not sure which AV it uses, but I would be surprised if it is another. It does seem to do AS/AV quite well, but requires some configuration to get it to do a really good job (although maybe that is just because we get so much spam). And you have to try and do any reconfiguration the Zimbra way, rather than just hacking settings files. Having said that the more I am becoming au fait with it the happier I am with this way of managing the system. It is a one-box solution. Zimbra is designed to be installed on a single server. The server install puts onto a raw (Debian, RedHat, Fedora, etc.) Linux box the pre-configured/modified versions of postfix, spamassan, etc..
