Has anyone tried this: http://www.zimbra.com/
It is an e-mail/calendar server that has most of what people use from Exchange. We have been using it for a while now and it seems to be fantastic! There is a nice AJAX (web) client that looks similar to Outlook web access (or any other e-mail client). Alternatively because it is built on a lot of the standard tools (e.g. postfix) you can access it via IMAP, POP, etc.. It was a bit of a pig to set up as I had to become familiar with the way it wanted to do things, but once all our mail was migrated to it, then it works well. It is much better than our old cyrus/squirrelmail set-up, but that was quite out of date. There is an Open-Source license and a pay-for-support one too ($18 - $35 /user/year depending on what you want). There is also a mobile client and a MAPI interface if someone wanted them. Hope that is of use to someone. Matt _______________________________________________ Peterboro mailing list [email protected] https://mailman.lug.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/peterboro
