RESOLVED!!!
I dont know how, which is annoying, but I was clicking about in Beryl Settings Manager, in the OPACITY bit, and now my window transparency works a treat, I am a little annoyed that I didnt write down exactly what settings I changed, but I am "made up" now that I can do all the cool stuff in beryl. Also, Mark, I did what you said and the trasparent cube effect is totally amazing!! Especially with video playing. Thanks Richard
