There are a lot of sites with lists of Linux equivalents for Windows apps, but I still think that a section on this would be a good idea. Perhaps if we pick a distro (Ubuntu being the obvious one) and just try and solve as many Window's users concerns as possible - an interesting challenge at least. Personally I'd love to get muvee (www.muvee.com) running under Wine, but I'm sure I tried unsuccessfully in the past. The only other thing I *really* miss from Windows is FinePrint (www.fneprint.com) - I'm told that all the functionality is there in Linux but I've never got it working. -- Mark Rogers // More Solutions Ltd (Peterborough Office) // 0845 45 89 555 Registered in England (0456 0902) at 13 Clarke Rd, Milton Keynes, MK1 1LG _______________________________________________ Peterboro mailing list [email protected] https://mailman.lug.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/peterboro
