I've installed Ubuntu 8.04 server in LTSP mode (following the instructions
at https://wiki.edubuntu.org/HardyClassroomServer) and it works flawlessly
using the RM PC as the thin client. The display even comes up in 1400x1050
mode on the client. The "Edubuntu" part is literally just a package which
you install after building the server.

The client seems quite responsive using Firefox and Open Office Writer -
even with its meagre 64MB RAM.
