Neither; mostly KDE apps under AfterStep.

The card -- well, chip, it's built in to the FX21 motherboard -- works
fine; the problem is something to do with the sound modules being
loaded, and I really can't figure out how the configuration program can
load those without difficulty and the initscripts can't.
