Just got my "new" Amberola 30. This is my first Amberola and I have a
problem. Everything seems fine until I try to play a cylinder. First, the
cylinders do not fit on the spindle properly... they fir tightly and will not
fit
completely on the spindle.
When I try to play the cylinders, they seem to skip and are not really
playable. I cleaned the stylus which made the sound clearer, but still
distorted.
Any ideas?
I may me doing the whole thing wrong... I've been known to screw up now and
again, but I do have (and know how to use) two-minute machines!
