Amen Randy, Walt, et. al. -- Glad to see that guy go, and take his paranoia with him.
But the mind-boggling thought of Walt's post is this: What would Edison's obituary look like as a job resume? They certainly don't make men like that anymore. On that note, can anyone suggest biographical documentaries on the Greats? I've seen fabulously entertaining docs by the History Channel on both Tesla and Bell (sticking mostly to telephony), and know they should be available somewhere (I haven't looked on Amazon yet). But with this group's abiding interest, I bet you folks know which ones are the best. I'd love to have a full collection on Edison, Johnson, Tesla, Farnsworth, Berliner, even Gaisberg would fascinate me, having the occupations of sound engineer and record producer in common. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Best to all, Robert
