I'd buy the big beautiful VV-XVII if it's in nice unrestored condition. Those upper end Victrolas sold in small numbers and it adds interest to a collection. The Vic II sold in huge numbers (for horn models) and it would have to be in really nice condition to be a keeper. The machines are quite different but equal in value so buy the one in the best condition. If they both need help buy my maroon Gem!
