Actually I am interested in both! The judgment of this forum seems to be that I have a nice horn at a decent price that just needs a little repair work, and I am leaning that way now. It looks nice on my Vic II, and sounds good too. For those who don't know it, there are 2 sizes of the Victor smooth wood horn, one made for Vic I, II and III, and one made for Vic IV and V. Mine is the former and so is perfectly suited to my Vic II. Originally I bought the horn to resell it on another Vic II that I got for resale. That one comes with a choice of H&S horns, one with multicolored panels, or one black and I thought putting the wood horn on it would give it a kick upward in value. THen I thought, having never before owned a wood horn myself, that I should keep it. With me, when buying for the resale, I always have to balance what I want to keep from what I intend to sell. It's a hard choice sometimes! I hoipe you are all not too sick of the last two subjects I raised here, one being the horn and the other being the Edison wrench. THere has been a lot of discussion, and I sort of feel like I monopolized the forum!! But the discussions have really been entertaining and enlightening! John
