I tried of course, but to the eBay listing so I suppose the messages were never 
passed on by the scoundrel.  

To be fair, a couple of years later I did find an address for Shawn but all I 
asked him was did he have a catalog of recordings.  He did not at the time and 
I did not follow up.  I would have reminded him of the specific recording to 
see if he could make good on it or give me a discount, since as I recall the 
original amount was not very much.   

So I guess I really should not hold it against him.
