Hi, I have one paypal account which I use strictly for buying whenever anyone absolutely requires it. I got a new credit card to use with it, and it has a low credit amount associated with it...I did this intentionally, lest someone hack into the account.
Also: I had a problem with an ebay seller, and paypal did little to resolve the problem, ultimately sending me to my credit card company! Your own credit card company is more likely to be "on your side" with problems anyway. So, personally, if I can, I use a credit card directly rather than paypal to buy something. I've also considered taking paypal for payment, but there is no free account for multiple transactions. AND they hang on to your money, yet expect you to ship out the item immediately. If your buyer is a bum, you can get raked bigtime, because paypal does not want to let go of the money. There's no question that paypal is here to stay, but as I said, I use it sparingly.
