In '07 I sold a model T Ford car for $8,500 but they have a very short memory and required I use Pay Pal "Due to the value of the article..." to sell a phonograph worth $1200 last fall. I quit e-bay then n' there and I'm still alive. It's useful for pricing but is not considered for anything I buy or sell. Our connections on the Internet are already providing adequate alternatives. Advanced collectors are not going to buy common machines, or if they do they wont pay retail.. I too hate Ebay, but I love to sell machines there because I have always got great prices and they sell quickly. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mike Stitt" <[email protected]> To: "Antique Phonograph List" <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, April 09, 2009 11:08 AM Subject: Re: [Phono-L] Suckerpunched by eBay & Vic III for sale >I thought we had talked about this here.
