Really? All banner Standard As I have had or seen the black slotted crank. The early banner Standard B had a threaded crank. The difference between the A and b Banner machines is that the A had the speed control knob above the bedplate, the B had the speed control below the bedplate. Are you sure your Standards were A models?

The one interesting thing of note is that it has a slotted crank, not threaded. My banner standard A has a threaded crank and so have all the others I have seen. It must be relatively early.
