The lecture is a good one, especially regarding the importance of appearing knowledgable (or even better, actually being informed) when talking to a service provider. But with regard to the line copied above, would it be more accurate to state "...causing the current to pass through the shorted group of loops together instead of individually, thus lowering the total resistance".
