One possible way to determine it is to run poll on php.net sites (as well
as zend.com ones) where people could select extensions
1) they are working with;
2) they are planning to use when they'll be more stable;
3) they are considering important supporting for PHP itself as well;

These three positions will provide enough info to select important
extensions, to see 'most wanted' from new stuff. #3 is a check point poll
which will allow to make possible errors and personal preferences lower.
