To summarize Chevereto has editions. There's a main edition (proprietary) 
and an Open Source edition under AGPLv3. Previously I had another project 
called "Chevereto-Free" here: https://github.com/rodber/chevereto-free

Chevereto has been free/paid/etc so many times that I understand the 
confusion. My goal has been always Open Source but it didn't pay neither I 
got contribution. I'm still finding ways to make it more universal, quite 
challenging the last few years.
