Or I could periodically run your list through our software for a small fee :)

On the bright side though, Not only would I be able to fix the case to how you want it, Even with all those dutch names I see around me at least. But I could verify that the address exists and is valid. Even run it through the national change of address database to get the most up to date address :)

Jason:

That sounds like a excellent service.

I don't have any mailing databases myself, but a few of my clients have -- how much?

I'll keep the idea in mind when talking to them.

Hey tedd,

It normally costs $62/thousand for our CASS software and NCOA. CASS is what will verify the address is a correct address, and NCOA is the National Change of Address Database which will give you the most current address (Assuming the people filed a change of address) and that database goes back 5 years and it will link all the addresses changes that it can. So if you moved 3 times in 5 years and filed the change of address each time, it will follow through all of that to get to the current address.

And while I'm spamming the list with what we can do... We can also send out mail merge letters for cheaper then 42¢ per piece... But then again, we can do that with all kinds of mail. We estimate postage starting at .258¢ per piece. In some cases, the right organization can get postage down to 6.6¢ each.

Now before I get in trouble, if anyone wants more info please feel free to contact me off list with any questions or to get a quote.

My personal feelings are that the US Postal Service and the US Military are the only parts of the US government that actually work.
