The doc team would like to setup a wiki on pb11 and display it via
docweb[1]. Security concerns will be looked into, and the wiki will
start out as something like our currently used unofficial official
wiki[2]. What runs the wiki is uncertain at this time, but
mediawiki
is a strong consideration. Initially wiki use will require being
logged in. If there are any objections and/or concerns, please
speak
up now.
I do like the wiki. although we don't use it a lot, it's useful.
Also I think that mediawiki is too big for our needs..
There are several options and mediawiki was offered because it's
actively developed and feature rich. It's big but what's the downside
of having all the available features that we may or may not use? We'd
be sure to keep the template as simple as possible. And mediawiki has
such nice diffs and changelogs that it's difficult to resist.
