There seems to be an implementation in imagemagick [1] as well as some open specs about the cineon format [2], from which the DPX file format was derived. The only thing missing are ... samples :) If you have any handy, we could open a feature request on gstreamer bugzilla [3] with links to your sample files so we can get this supported ASAP. The only issue would be clarifying the patents/copyright issues about this format...
