Dear Meri I wonder if you difficulty with exercise may be due to a pituitary problem and lack of growth hormone. As you know, I worked out extensively until my tumor caused permanent damage to my pituitary and or hypothalamus. I too am severely limited in what I do and exercise seems to make me feel worse. I do notice that if I am a little bit active I feel better but some days are worse. Your doctor probably does not understand your illness. Pituitary disease is one of the times when exercise can make you feel worse. You may need to go into a graded exercise program with a physical therapist who can help you but it is important that they also understand your limitations and not push you. It is best to know your limits. Sharon
