Gogy, ![]() I have heard of a few but don't remember who that have had these hypopit symptoms for decades. My first visit to a doctor for these was about 30 years ago. I still was very active but felt too tired too often and knew no one else my age was feeling like that. My pit tumor was discovered 7 years ago and all of a sudden my symptoms had a cause that made sense. About that time my fatigue was so great that I no longer could work. Now, even with meds, I am much like a zombie and can't think clearly, read more than a few sentences, etc. I've never taken Dostinex and my tumor has remained the same at 1.1 cm. I have an inactive tumor that shows normal hormones on tests, does not secret anything but is damaging my pituitary something awful. This is why I have severe hypopituitary symptoms.' I'm hoping that if I can find a doctor to remove the pit tumor, then my pituitary will heal itself and I'll be back to normal. I don't know if this will be true but I am willing to try since I have tried to fix myself in all other possible ways. Let's start a quest to find those pit tumor patients that have had the tumor removed and what their experiences afterwards have been. I think that would be very interesting. How can we do that? Do know? Pam ![]() |
