Pam,
A usefull tool for finding out more information about the results of pit surgery is to go to "PubMed" and use this website for research.   Here is the link:
 
 
in the "for" field, you might put "pituitary surgery results" which for me brought up 2211   listings of studies.  These are scientific studies, not first hand account of the patients, and can have some very usefull information.  Also, if you would like to have folks discuss their surgery outcomes, I would suggest you start a new thread with a subject line that indicates that, so folks will know to contribute.
