Pam,
All I can say is I totally emphasize.  I think we've talked before.  I can't tell you how much I understand the fatigue.  My father died a week ago, yesterday.  You don't know or you probably do understand what it took for me to plan his funeral (unfortunately he married four months ago being totally mentally incompetent but my sisters and I had only two days notice and didn't know how to stop the wedding).

His wife wouldn't lift a finger to  plan the funeral but sure did call the pension dept fast enough!  Anyway that's personal stuff....  The day of the funeral before we left my house, I stood holding onto a chair so lightheaded wondering if I could make it through. Luckily I did.  All I heard that day was "boy have you lost weight Lisa".  I had to go out to the car to lay down at one point.

Two days before my father died I started Tapazole for my hyperthyroidism.  Within 6-7 days I started feeling better, eating better than I have in months and the shakiness got better but unfortunately I now have stomach soreness/pain.  The endo says it sounds like a GI problem.  The GI doctor says my tests were normal there's nothing wrong with me.

The pharmacist at my insurance company says yes, stomach pain is a side effect of the Tapazole.  But, with no doctor willing to help I don't know where to turn from here.  Right now I've reduced my dose slightly on my own as to not stop it abruptly.  Lord almightly I don't know what to do.

I'm snapping at everyone around me as if it's their fault. I have no idea what to do.

I so wish I could help you.  As I said I was improving with the antithyroid med and can still eat, I have no nausea just pain in my stomach and upper right quadrant.
Everything including Gallbladder tests were normal.  So I don't know what's going on.

Hope you fine some answers.  I won't even go to a doctor at this point not one has helped me.

Lisa
