Evelyne- I actually live in Ottawa too! What part of the U.S. did you move to? What were your prolactin levels if you dont mind me asking. Is it possible for a person to have mildly elevated prolactin and not have a prolactinoma? I have heard stress over having blood taken can raise it as well? Livi1313 - Your prolactin was a very similar reading to mine. How have you found the medication and have your symptoms decreased since taking it? My doctor keeps saying that to have a prolactinoma you need prolactin levels of over 100 so I should not worry about mine at 29 but I am starting to wonder. Alse, did either of you have to have contrast done on your mri? I am worried about having the dye injection...is it possible to have the mri doen without the dye?
