You sound just like my friend. He also "liked" his "team". That is NOT the point! I think I started by going to google and typing in something like "pituitary neurosurgeon toronto canada"............then may "pituitary forums"..........that led me to this site and others. Be sure and copy and paste or print the info you get as there is so much you will soon get lost. Now I copy and paste and underline and save and and and..............
When we were about where you are now I also went to my family doctor who said "you are on the right track..........connect all the dots and push all the buttons gently", [we didn't want to lose the old surgeon before getting the new one]. Often you can email the doctors directly which is probably more effective and easier for them. To my mind the only important question for a surgeon is "if it was you or your significant other where would you go and what would you do?".......if he is very pituitary experienced and if you believe him put your life or at least your health in his hands. My friend will be having his second transphenoilal so it can be done. I will post when it has been done.
