Let see here... Both Pituitary Tumor here on MSN and Pituitary Chat are labors of love by its members and managers. We are here for each other. I kind of like not being affiliated with any hospitals, drug companies, advertising firms, and/or magazine companies. The site is free, cept for the 20 bucks or so I donate once a year to the chat space fella so we can have a joint chat room. I also fork over a couple of bucks a month for a remote hosting site for library articles. The members can add their favorite books, add research links, education events, announcements, upload pictures, add helpful hospitals, doctors, and share. We are not doctors, just all a bunch of patients. I do work in the Houston Medical Center, but in the construction industry. I always thought of myself as a translator. I can translate stratosphere phrases such as "Expenditures exceed the fiscal allowances for this annual cycle" from the bosses to "Hey... you are out of money." ![]() It has been a learning experience for all of us managers to figure out how to do this though. I think we appreciate everyone being patient with us. I love everyone's contributions. It is so helpful to share the experiences. The docs see it from their end, but it is kind of like just about anything, I guess. You can read about it, watch it, study it, but until you jump out of that airplane, you just don't know the experience of flying and of falling. We are all in this together! |
