Hi Jamie,
I think the best thing you can do is followup with that doctor. These pituitary tumors need to be watched. I don't know alot about prolactinoma's as mine was Cushing's but I have heard enough about how important it is to watch these tumors so you can have the best treatment as soon as you need it, maybe it will all be the same and you won't need any new treatment that is my hope for you. I am sure 6 weeks sounds feels like a long time I know that waiting is tough so hang in there and don't miss your appointment even if you start feeling better, just go and then you will have your answers and hopefully all is well. I will keep you in my prayers. Take care
