Hi. I was diagnosed with acromegaly in the beginning of February (tumor was 11 mm.) and had a surgery on 03/08/05. I still have high IGF-1 and GH when I was tested five weeks after surgery. There is no sign of residual tumor on MRI. I read about new endoscopic surgery that provides better results. I would like to know if it is possible to perform another surgery using this fully endoscopic approach. If it is possible, then how soon it can be done from the moment of the last surgery. I also had a sinus surgery for chronic sinusitis on 12/21/04.
