Endonasal surgery isn't really "blind" - my partner had it less than 3 weeks ago - I believe they watch and see everything on a computer screen while operating. They go up one nostril and take the tumour out the other [which nostril depends on whether you are right or left handed]. Very easy recovery and the doc thinks he got 100% of the 3.5 sinus invading tumour. I would nicely ask your n.s. why he doesn't do it and what he thinks are the pros and cons and maybe he will refer you to someone who does it? If you are like my partner you will feel 1000 times better once this thing is gone! Good luck.
