Thanks for your reply. My surgeon does both endo and trans, he tailors it to what he feels would be the "best" approach. I believe he will be performing a transphenoidal, but what sold me on him was his candor regarding the varied approaches as well as the interoperative imaging (MRI) utilized. He also said the position of my tumor allowed for a good chance for "cure"-despite the size (2cm)- so that was a good feeling as well. I thank you so much for all your support, posts and replies. I really appreciate all of it. I have some definite anxiety now that I am apporoaching the "time", but I guess that is to be expected. I wonder why they would take you off something that was making you finally feel "normal" I just can't understand that- could the test be wrong? Doesn't seem reasonable, I could be missing/not understanding something. I can understand your frustration, I think anyone would feel the same. M |
