Hi everyone,
Does anyone know about low growth hormone levels and what that means or how important it is to have it be normal level. I just received a phone call from the doctor's office 30 days after they said if you don't hear anything from us all is fine. Now 30 days later they have called to say my growth hormone is to low and oh by the way it was low before surgery too. NEWS to me as I was never told. Anyway now they are in an all fired hurry for me to come back and take some growth hormone stimulation test. I am just wondering that if it was not important before surgery or for the 6 weeks after or for the thirty days after they tested me and did not let me know just how important should I think this is?? Since I was never told there was a problem with my growth hormone level by any doctor including the one who did surgery I know nothing about the effects of having low growth hormone or what I will benefit from medication or if I should even bother to followup on this. Any input would be good.
Thanks in advance and it is good to have this chat back I missed it so much.
