Same thing pretty much happened to me, when I switched
from Pergolide (Permax) to Dostinex. Endo is now trying to adjust the
Dosti dosage. Maybe you need to take more of the Dostinex? My tumor
was very large - - now smaller, not near optic nerve and apparently causing no
other major problems - - but my prolactin level has been
stubborn.

Hi, today was my 6 month appointment with my endo.
Apparently my prolactin levels have been - 244, 113, 41, 96 and
my last bloodwork 136. My endo feels that either my tumor
is growing or my tumor is not responding to the
medication. Odd thing is, my levels looked like they were
dropping and suddently went back up?
I was told maybe the lab was incorrect, maybe the pills are
incorrect ( I need to take them into the pharmacy to make sure
they are what they are DOSTINEX - which they are).
My tummor is 10mm close to the optic nerve, but it is not
causing any problems with my vision. I have another follow-up
with an MRI in 3 months. I am possibly looking at
surgery?
I'm just confused at the fact that it was working then
stopped....
