Update on Options After Surgery

ktzmoore, Was the surgery done by one of the well known experts? I think I would be concerned if the nero-surgeon thought he got it all and I had a 4cm tumor left! I know that things can happen to even the best doctors but this seems rather odd. I would be very concerned about conventional radiation to the head. There can be serious side effects. That's why they developed the focused techniques. You really should get a second opinion from another one of the pituitary experts before you go ahead with this. Why can't they operate again? Wouldn't gama knife or some other focused radiation be better than general radiation to the head. I would want confirmation that this is the best course of treatment before I moved ahead.
