Update on Options After Surgery

I thank everyone for their advice.  Unfortunately us paying for a consult out of pocket is not an option.  We are barely able to hold on to our home & vehicles, let alone have extra money to pay for things that should be covered.  My insurance might be changing soon and I will look into a second opinion at that time.

The oncologist that we saw yesterday does not want to rush into anything.  He said that there is a possibility that the tumor could still be in the process of collapsing.  He said that if this is the case, it would be in out best interest to wait another few weeks and repeat the MRI.  It could be that one of the focused radiations will be possible after all.  He also told us that he would consult with a pituitary specialist for guidance since our insurance won't cover us seeing him.  We have another appointment with him next week to review his findings and go over all options available to us.  He was so honest with us that we actually left the appointment with confidence in this Dr and less fear in our future.
