Alot has happened in 5 years. Dr. Laws does his surgeries endonasally now. The technique for using the endonasal approach with endoscopes is actually used by many neurosurgeons all over the country for pituitary surgery. You can go to PUBMED and research this on your own. The skill of the neurosurgeon, and not the endoscope or the use of endoscopes for surgery is what determines outcome. Here is an interesting article too: |
