My surgery at UVA was totally endonasal. Dr. Laws was very nice, but once it was over, my follow-ups were pretty much-- O.K. see you in 6 mts. or next year. He's pretty much finished unless there's another surgery. Thorner (the endo he works with) is pretty smug when you have to go back on meds. It seemed to my wife and me that they almost have a professional competition going on between whether surgery or meds are better. I need to be on the meds again because the surgery didn't work. I'm still sick on the meds. I also still regret surgery at UVA.
