Hi Mark25

My son, Jason, had his growth hormone tumor removed July 11th. His endocrinologist did not even run the full spectrum of blood test until 6 weeks post op. She said that it often takes weeks to months for the pituitary function to return to normal. Jason had a MRI today to see if there is any residual tumor, and his blood work that was done last week had all levels within normal limits. Where did you have your tumor removed? Do you have an MRI scheduled to see if there is any residual tumor? As far as the swelling of soft tissues Jason still has some swelling across his forehead, but his hands and feet look really good. If you have any other questions please give this group a shout. These are great people. Hope you feel well soon. – Chris – Ogy’s Mom
