Wow..Thank you for all these replies, it really helped me out a lot I was wandering if anybody had the glucose tolerance test done, and what their levels were, as i have read that different doctors consider different levels as norms. I have personally notcied only a decrease in sweating, and no facial appearnce except for maybe some thinning of the nose. My pituitary tumor was located in the cavernous sinus area, yet the doctor believed that only some of it was functioning tumor and the other was not, any thoughts on that would be great too. Does anbody also know what happens if your GH is slightly high and yet your igf1 is normal, does that mean cure or what?? Also it has been 4 weeks since my surgery, and i know people are mentioning thats it could take weeks to months for the levels to come down, but i was wandeirng that if it was a gradual process or is there a steep decline at a point( mine has already been very steep, i just hope it keeps hoing down). I mean what would be a realistic date to get my selff checked out again. And finally considering if my tumor is still not out, is there anyone who knows of a really good doctor or the best doctor (surgeon) who could get the remaining tumor out, anywhere in the world would be nice. Its great to hear all these stories from people as now i don;t feel alone in this situation anymore. From the bottom of my heart...thank you for your support. Mark |
