modpixie,

Thank you for your brave post.  I too was a twently something about 5 years ago...with your story.  I decided to take on my "pit. problem" and my "no libido" and finally find a very compassionate OB/GYN with endo. experince.  I was started on Dostinex...my prolactin went from 300's to 30ish.  For the first time in my 30th year I got cycles back & feel like a normal woman as a sexual being.  I feel like every detail you accounted was identical to my experience... exactly.   Although I forced myself to go out and just be with people because I thought it was all in my head and I was the one with an introverted problem...now I know it wasn't true.   It still did help to go out with others.  I sort of feel like I am playing catch up for those 20's, but nothing feels better than to be on track now...no looking back is the mantra.  The craziest thing is that I have started to feel the effects of increased libido and attractiveness to others.  One of my dearest old friends of mine has all of a sudden has become incredibly attractive...I can't explain it...but it is very nice.  He will be in for a surprise to hear this I bet.  There is a lot of hope...even my OB/GYN told me that I should be careful because I could get pregnant if I am not careful.  THAT WAS THE BEST NEWS EVER...he was shocked at my reaction :)  I wish you the best of hope and luck...and please keep talking about what is up with you becuase we all have experienced similar stuff...you are not alone!
