Pituitary symptoms are wierd depending on which part of the pituitary gland is affected. The tumor can even affect several parts. Your endocrinologist should be running comprehensive blood tests for all the possible areas. It is important to be followed by an endocrinologist at a designated "pituitary center".  If surgery is recommended - find someone who has done and is still doing a significant number of "skull based" or "pituitary surgeries". Again these folks are usually attached to a pituitary center. The nearest center to my home is almost a 3 hour drive but the expertise is worth the effort. Other people on the board go even further.
