I suppose he needs to make sure with some testing that the pituitary tumor and the graves disease are seperate issues. Some of us have indeed had the rare TSH secreting tumor. Your doctor should be able to differentiate that with some labs. Some of your symptoms may be caused by the graves disease, so it will be of primary importance to work with your doctor to get your thyroid levels normalized. Secondly, your endo needs to run some basic hormonal testing, and metabolic profile complete with lipids and liver function. Some things that he can test for is prolactin, IGF-1, GH, ACTH, cortisol, testosterone, LH and FSH (for starters) and fasting glucose.
