Hello, I met with my neuroendo from Mass General last week. I asked him about flying with a tumor and he told me that it would be okay. He could not promise me that I would not have a headache but many people have headaches from flying and they don't have tumors. I wanted to relay this information because I am sure others have or will have this same question. I am booking my flights to CA and Germany! On another note, we discussed resuming Dostinex to shrink the tumor (6 mm) and lower the prolactin level. I was on it last year for 3 months and had to stop because of the side effects. The good news, it did manage to shrink the tumor but unfortunately, it grew back. I am planning to start the treatment in a week or so after consulting with a neurologist for severe headaches/migraines. Thank you for your postings. |
