lovemuffin,

What a story!  It's so horrible when doctors don't listen to their patients.  When did you find out about your tumor?  I had my tumor removed in Feb.06 and mine was hemmoraghing too.  That's what was causing my migraine headaches.  My surgeon said that the hemmoraghing could have caused me to have a stroke.  I had it removed the following week.  I also had peripheral vision loss in my left eye.  My vision in that eye returned after surgery.  How is your vision now?  I found out that when a tumor presses on the optic nerve too long, it can damage it permanently.  Luckily, mine wasn't damaged.

I don't have an opinion on suing the doctor.  Talk to an attorney and see what they say.  After reading your post, it sounds like your doctor dropped the ball in your case.  I lost my husband 6 years ago to cancer and I learned that sometimes you have to "scream and yell" to get the doctors to listen you.  I learned that we have to be in charge of our healthcare.  To some doctors, we are only a patient number and $$$$$.  Hope everything works out for you.
