Hey lovemuffin,

The reason your eyesight was affected was due to the tumor pressing on your optic nerve.  There isn't much room for the tumor to go.  In my case, mine was bleeding and was pushing the tumor into my brain while pressing on the optic nerve.  I'm glad your vision is back.  I didn't realize how bad my vision had gotten until after surgery and I could see again! LOL  Read my post titled: I saw Neuro today.  It will catch you up to speed on my condition.  I am feeling fine.  No my hormones are not normal.  My doc refered me to an Endo who specializes in Pit tumors.  My hair is still thinning and my skin has gotten soooooo dry!  Apparently, the tumor destroyed most of my Pit gland.  The follow-up MRI showed that.  Take care!
