Hello,
Been awhile since I posted. Just dropped in to check on everything. I had my tumor removed on 6/29/05. At my suggestion not the doctors. I was tired of bad migraines, nausa and the way I looked. When they did the operation my tumor had burst and hemeraged at some point. Because there was clots in there. I wished the doctors would listen to what thier patients say not everyone is the norm. If I would have waited I fear that I could have died from the blood clott going to heart or someother place. The surgeon told my family that after surgery, but the funny thing is when I go my medical records there was no mention of the clott. Why? Of course it may have been in there but in medial terms I understand. I have thought about suing my endo, I don't think I got the care I should have. It was like no big deal. I lived in total hell for over a year while under his care, taking 5 dostinex a week, head aches, blurred vison and all the other crap that they say had nothing to do with my tumor. But guess what tumor gone and my life is pretty much back to pre-tumor. I still get low cortisol every once in awhile. But other than that thing are 100% better. Even thinking about another child, if possible. I just get so angry sometimes when I think about what I went though and felt like no doctor understands, what pituitary tumor patients live with.
I got my records from endo and come to find out I had dangerous low cortisol before surgery that no one every told me. It was 0.5, in the am. I could have went into shock from that. Does anyone feel that I have a case to file suit. It is not about money it is about doctors not listening and to not consider every patient the same. The only way to do that is to hit them in the bank. Maybe that will get there attention. I thank God everyday that I pushed them into taking it out. Or should I say he told me to push for surgery. Love to hear feedback on similar cases an opionion on sueing.

Take care,
Lovemuffin
