Hey Debb, I found put about my tumor in April of 2004, after I had to make the doctors do further testing, They told me rare to have a tumor. My vison became worse like overnight. My eyesight just became worse, no loss of peripheral vison. Just blurred sometimes and worsening. But after srgery I could see better with out my contacks. It was unreal, I don't know why my vision was effected that way but, it has to have something to do with the tumor. I am not a texted book case. Docotors need to not always assume that everyone is the same. My doctors told me that it was a prolactnoma, but my prolactin was never that high, the highest it was was 98. And most people I have talked to said that the reason I did not respond to the meds, is because was not a prolactnoma. I had to ask for different test when I went to the doctor, I did research and when I went for visit I would ask for the test to be done. I just get so mad that no one listen to me and it almost cost me my life. Are you doing well after your surgery? Are all hormones working correctly? Lovemuffin |
