Hi, My name is Alison and I have just been diagnosed with a microprolactinoma. It is about 5mm in size on the left side of my pituitary gland. My prolactin level was 1700+ in June. I have just (last weekend) started on Dostinex with the main side effect so far being drowziness, although I have been getting pins and needles in my hands and feet since then - is that normal?? I think I have been quite fortunate so far regarding my symptoms and side effects, as I have been able to continue on with work etc. as normal at this stage. It's good to have found this site, and its reassuring to know there are heaps of people who are going through similar things and have information to share. Am trying to stay positive, but am a little bit nervous about what is ahead. |
