Have you been seen by an endocrinologist? have you had other hormone levels evaluated? Initially, I had similar problems with normal prolactin levels. Turned out that I had severely elevated growth hormones and have acromegaly. The areas of the pituitary gland that produce prolactin are near other areas that produce other hormones. Evidently, the prolactin area is near the growth hormone area. Also, it's a good idea to have the hormones retested if they come out normal as production can vary from day to day.
